Cyberpunk 2077 is getting another boost to its visuals with a future update that includes Nvidia’s latest features, including ray tracing: overdrive mode and Nvidia DLSS3 – both only available on the RTX 40 series.

As announced by Nvidia, the RTX 40 series will feature the third iteration of Deep Learning Super Sampling. DLSS3 can up to four times the performance compared to regular display – almost meaning gamers get better quality graphics at higher frame rates.

Now play: Cyberpunk 2077 with NVIDIA DLSS 3 and ray tracing: Overdrive

Ray tracing: Overclocking mode primarily increases the accuracy of reflections, lights, and shadows. according to nvidia Blog, Ray tracing: Cyberpunk 2077’s Overdrive mode will bounce tracked lighting and reflections multiple times, creating an ‘immersive global lighting’.

Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t the only game that will enable DLSS3. There are 35 other games, including Microsoft Simulator and The Witcher. According to Nvidia, the first visual updates to support DLSS3 will be released in October 2022.
