The first weekend of the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta has come and gone, and the second weekend is about to begin.

Weekend #1 was all about PlayStation. Despite the ongoing acquisition of Activision by Microsoft, the PlayStation / Call Of Duty deal is still valid – for now. If Microsoft’s purchase goes according to plan, this will be the last year we’ll see PS4 and PS5 players get an edge on Call Of Duty.

But this time, PC and Xbox gamers had to wait. They can dive again this weekend in two distinct trial phases. Here’s how it breaks down:

Modern Warfare II Trial Week 2 Early Access begins Thursday, September 22nd at 10AM PT / 1PM ET. This is open to all PlayStation players and to PC and Xbox players who have pre-ordered or have an early access key.

Content creators – really like you – are giving away pre-beta keys. watch the Video below For instructions on how to get a trial key on your PC or Xbox:

The open beta — which includes all players on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation — begins Saturday, September 24 at 10AM PT/1PM ET.

The beta was a controversial introduction to Modern Warfare II, with a number of divisive gameplay decisions such as the removal of enemy nameplates sparking excitement. I’d be curious to know what everyone thinks.
