Former President Donald Trump has claimed that FBI agents who conducted a court-authorized search of his home in Palm Beach, Florida, took his last will and testimony as well as 100 classified documents found in his office and a nearby storage room.
“They took a lot. I think they took my will. I found out yesterday,” the twice impeached former president said during an appearance on his eponymous Fox News night show Sean Hannity.
Trump told Hannity, his lawyer and the National Archives and Records Administration, “were having very nice discussions, no problems”, when “suddenly we were hit hard by the FBI” on August 8.
When the twice impeached former president suggested that FBI agents took his will, Hannity replied, “Am I in it?”
Mr. Trump did not say. But he added that publishing his will “could cause a lot of problems”.
